cellboyWhen you go away for a few days, and come back to more catch up work at work, correcting and inputting stuff that was never done. Is it worth going away? You bet cha!!! I had a great time, but thoroughly exhausted!!!!
Sitting naked by the pool, visiting friends, finally joining Grinder/Scruff, and eating good food, all made for an interesting weekend.
The two fit guys to the upper right were hot! Unfortunately they must of been shy. They never took their suits off to sun or swim for the 4 days they were there (this is a nude optional resort).
1. Last Thursday I got a late start, due to getting the temp organized, and Enterprise taking forever to process my stuff.
2. I decided to rent a small car. My own car is getting old. Nothing worse than getting stranded on Hwy 5! Glad I did. It was a small Hyundai. Basic car, but at least it had Sirius XM Radio.
3. The usual fast route is Hwy 5, to the 210, to the 10, to the 111. But hearing that the 210 was a parking lot, I decided to go though Lancaster/ Hwy 138. That route seemed like it took forever.
4. I arrived at about 5 pm, checked in, unpacked, and thought I had better nap. At work, with getting the office prepped, interviewing candidates for the weekend job, I was pooped.
5. I plopped into bed, to the most unusually soft mattress I had ever plopped into. It was too soft! And oddly when you roll to the center, you roll up hill, only to roll slightly downhill on the other side. Oy! Is there a body under there? Well I decided not to complain (rooms all booked so no chance of changing rooms), and give it a try tonight.
6. The room itself was pretty large. The feeling of the rooms and the complex reminded me of the RRR at the Russian River. Well not exactly like the RRR.
7. I come to find out a day or two later (I really did not tour the place as I would usually do) that in the back there is a "play room" with videos playing. A sauna. And a gym (with a treadmill with leaves on it, and a few weights LOL). The play room and sauna looked a bit seedy. And there was some seedy action going on when I peeked in several times :)
8. That was not really my cup of tea for the weekend. I really opted to sit by the pool, or go in the Jacuzzi.
7. My nap did not last long. I went in town, to Hunters, to check the crowd, then later back to the hotel,to hit the pool area, and Jacuzzi. There were some pretty interesting guys.
8. One cute guy, probably in his late 20's, told us (there were was one other in the pool with me), with a raging hard on, that he was straight,and just looking to be serviced. He was sorta creepy, we thought maybe homeless (he snuck in). Anyway he did not last long in the Jacuzzi, after cruising us for it seemed forever, with no response from us whats so ever. LOL
9. Later on this hot taller guy, with swimmers build, shows up, strips, plops into the water and starts talking. From Atlanta says he. After about a hour, a few in the Jacuzzi leave, and it's just him and me A good talker he was, we were until 4 in the morning. My jacuzzi wrinkled body showed it.
10. Sleeping in that soft bed was not great. In fact I slept lousy.
11. The next day, Friday, it was sleep in the sun, swim in the pool and such. I also met friend Bill, to see his new home, not to far away.
12. Later that day, I made it for about an hour to Wang's for the famous happy hour. Happened to run into friend Cliff from Modesto, and a friend of his, then it was off to friend Steve (drag queen Snatch) and Glenn's home for a nice meat loaf dinner
13. The house they purchased, and landscaping and pool (that Snatch did mostly himself), was beautiful.
13. After dinner I went back to town, to meet friend Billy (who moved there from SF a few years ago) to check the bar scene, do some dancing at Hunters, then later, I went back to the hotel and into the Jacuzzi.
14. Busier Friday night, the jacuzzi friendlier crowd, and I met some really nice people.
15. Up fairly early on Saturday, I made it to World Gym by 10 am. Being that I go to a small straight gym, this gym in comparison is a gay treat. Packed with hot gay men everywhere. This gym is huge! And great machines choices!
16. Upon leaving I checked out the locker room to see if my friend Billy was there. He was. We ended up at Rick's for a hearty late breakfast/brunch.
17. He had his chiropractic appt after, so we agreed to go out to the bars that night which we did. We ended up at Hunters, dancing to some pretty good mixes.
18. With friend Will, Billy and I ended up going to Lulu's for a wonderful dinner. Then hit the night life on Arenas, and then the Tool Shed.
19. During all this time, I had, on Friday night finally got hooked up to Grindr and Scruff. OMG. Talk about a busy site. At least for someone visiting from out of town! LOL
20. Tried from not totally getting a good sleep, I slept in for a bit on Sunday before driving home. And of course I get a really good hit from some hot guy in PS. Not this time. I need to go home!
21. After check out, Billy, Will, and I met at Rick's for breakfast before I leave. And surprisingly I run into Darren (cute), one of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, that I had not seen, or knew, had moved to Eureka, and is now living in Palm Springs. We did some major catch up!

22. After breakfast, it was time for the long drive. This time using Hwy 210 to the 5.
23. In Button Willow, I stopped for gas and some eats. While sitting at the lunch table, I get a "Woof" via Scruff. In Button Willow. Lives 5 miles from here? LOL Not! I need to get home!
24. Home by 9 pm, I was exhausted! I quickly unpacked, and quickly jumped into bed to sleep.
25. Really busy today, I managed to stay awake, finish the day, do laundry, type this, and now off to sleep.

Date: 2012-03-14 10:04 am (UTC)Switzerland is a beautiful country, it´s more quiet and has wonderful landscapes. I visited it once for few days and hope too see more this time. The last time I was there, many years ago, it was raining. I hope because I´ll there in August it will be better weather. I would love to see the mountains.
