1. Friday it was a mad rush to SF to meet Griff, Mark, and Ho, for dinner (Griff's birthday dinner (finally!) and to see the Broadway show, War Horse.

2. Dinner was OK. But not much for $22. I was starving when I got home that night

3. The show was OK. The puppetry was awesome, but I think the script, and acting weak. I never saw the movie, but I suppose for film's sake, and ticket sales, it's far better.

4. After the show I rushed to BART, and made it on the last train home. Whew!

5. On Saturday, I trained our new guy in the office for a few hours, then it was off to a birthday dinner in Twin Peaks. It was dinner for 2 birthday people. A very nice mix of people, straight, gay... very cosmopolitan. Although I should of gone home after, I ended up at 440 with friends, hung out in the back bar with Ho, Donna Sachet, and others.

6. Since it was late, I took up Ho's offer and crashed at his house. Not much sleep. His 2 cute dogs kept me up, and Ho likes the TV going all night. Those infomercials kept me up thinking I need to buy everything! LOL

7. Home Sunday morning (6 am) without much sleep, I hopped into bed for a few hours. I stayed close to home for most of the day. Glad I did. I needed the rest. I did mange to do a major apt clean. :)

8. Somewhat busy at work so far this week. Budgets are almost complete, getting stuff done ahead of time, for I leave town next week for NOLA.

9. The only other thing is I think there is a mouse in the house. Well, I know there is. My house plant on the floor keeps getting its dirt disturbed. Dirt all over the carpet. I put traps out, only to find the peanut butter and cheese has been eaten by the next day. Smart mouse! LOL! I sometimes leave the screen door open. Once open all night, it may of come it that way. Who knows. Well at least he is living in a clean house! LOL!

10. We had a major mouse attack 4 yrs ago when they dug up the golf course across the street. Like the movie Willard, the whole neighborhood was inundated. By just sealing walls around kitchen and bathroom pipes, and a few traps we were able to rid them quite quickly. My pipes were already sealed, but I did get one. It squeezed under my front door! My neighbor next door just moved out. They were not very clean, so I think maybe it possibly may of come from across the hall.

11. I'll keep at it. I think I'll put a sticky pad under the two traps. Hate doing that, to find them squeaking the next day in terror of being stuck on the paper. They are so cute. I also have one of those high frequency things one plugs into the wall for mice. I don't think that would be a good idea. My turtle might get freaked out.

12. The only other annoying thing is the weather. From the top floor of my building I can see the the sun/fog line. Its sunny 3 miles south of here. Here, it's foggy, windy, and cold. Burr! I almost turned on the furnace last night! And my Christmas cactus is beginning to bloom! Damn micro climates! But at least I'm close to Bart and SF :)
