1. During my sleep last night, LJ deducted the yearly payment for LJ membership. :)

2. I thought I had been on LJ like it seems forever, but only since 4/14/2007, thanks to the suggestion of [livejournal.com profile] urbear. Then, I posted incessantly. Not so much now (as I have also noticed with some of the old timers as well). Things change, we get busy, and sometimes not much to say I guess. FB doesn't help much either.

3. Friday was Hayward night, play party, meet and greet night. I had a great time, and met some really nice new people again (wink). Most were from the south or east bay. I was home pretty early this time, which is good. I wanted it to be a low key weekend. Russian River the previous weekend really wore me out. No motivation to do much all week. Not even the gym so much either.

4. The previous work week fried me. With no maintenance man (although we have a great temp) so far in sight, it has been busy. I thought I had found two possibilities. Someone experienced, reliable, that I liked, and they were willing to start work ASAP. But I was shot down by HR. They want someone different. So that blew the wind out of my sails for the week. I'm calling more in for interviews, but skeptic that HR will not like them too!

5. Saturday was light gym (my shoulder still bothering me), then up to SF to meet up with a friend, and to 440 for a bit, but home early again. Exciting isn't it? I ended up watching The Color Purple (for the millionth time), and still balling my eyes out (as if I've never seen it before! LOL)

6. Sunday I met up with Lee and Tom at Fitness/SF, back home for a shower, then on BART to Mission and 6th streets, to meet up with Ho, Patrick, Mark, Tom, and Lee for a delightful brunch at Dotties. After, it was then to the Metreon to see Man of Steel.

7. The movie was good, but I would say not excellent. The first third of the movie was slow. The gal that played Lois Lane, I thought not a great actor. Actually the acting all together was not fabulous. But the CGI was great. I actually like Iron Man better. More humor thrown in, and better acting.

8. But watching Henry Cavill shirtless was worth the watch. According to Muscle and Fitness Mag, his fitness routine for over a year was intense. And all his muscle was real. No CGI or stuffed suits with this one. And at least this Superman never shaved his chest. Once could still see the chest hair above the costume line :)

9. After the movie we all made our way to the Castro for a bit. Ate, then went home. I'm still a bit worn from the weekend, but another good nights sleep should help.

10. Happy week all !

Yes, the scene with him running, shirtless, and wet? Yeah, that was nothing but fan service =)
