After a too brief visit to the "Two Dave's" annual Christmas party in San Carlos, I then went to meet up with "Mamas Family" for the Alameda County Leather Association Christmas Toy Drive in Hayward. One of the men selling the raffle tickets was very tall. In fact huge. His hands were huge. His feet were huge. He could probably could of lost a few pounds, but in any case I thought. Where does one buy their clothes? Then thinking: Do very tall/big people have a complex of being too tall? Do they wish they were shorter? Some big people I do envy. Although I'm 5'11", I sometimes wish I were taller and larger. However,I have been with some of the guys of the "Big and Tall Club of SF. Man! I did not know how tall one could get! I would not want to be that tall. Do they have some psychological issues as short people do?

A couple of hours later then I was off to the Powerhouse Bar (Powderpuff) in SF for another Toy Drive event. Standing in the somewhat crowed bar, there was a group of very tall and big football type(muscular but not the steroid types... well maybe a bit) standing in front of the stage. All easily over 6'4''. All very good looking too (seems that the Powerhouse bar is attracting the muscle bear crowd). One of the hunkiest ones came up to me, introduced himself. Swoon! OK. Double swoon! What lats! What arms! What a chest!! He had questions about Mama, how the family works, the toy drive etc. Somehow the subject came up , saying he "loves" big men. I figured so. They all hang out together, and one would be squished underneath one (I wouldn't mind :). Anyway, I again thought, as I was eying his perfectly muscular butt and under those tight jeans, "Do they like being big, or tall". Or would they rather be more on the "average" height and size. It seems to me that many seem shy. Maybe because they stand out more, they get more stares. So maybe they tend to withdraw a bit. The public tends to equate large with being more masculine, and secure. More virile. The hunter syndrome. Maybe a ingrained mindset over the thousand of years, when we were hunters and gatherers. Large man = Good hunter. Large man = Good provider. Large man = Good pro-creator. I have read some articles of men that are fed up of being so large. Tired of people assuming things about their size. (Big size does not always equal big penises). Some complain of back problems due to size. Issues when shopping for clothing, cars not big enough etc.

I must say it seems that since these men are genetically predisposed to being tall and big boned, and possibly too heavy as well, they are lucky. For they are using this gift to shape their bodies to the max via diet and working out. They probably don't need much work to build muscle (hate genetics!). Good for them!

At any rate, being happy for who you are and loving yourself for being you, no matter what your size is what is important.

Note: The huge hunky man before leaving the bar, came over to me ,and gave me a big goodbye hug. Swoon again! Since he and his humpy gang frequent the Lone Star... guess I will too :-)
