This is one of the companies involved in the TSA's "registered traveler" proposal. The idea is that you pay a fee, the TSA investigates you and then allows you to use special security lanes that are supposedly faster and easier to get through.
I don't think it'll fly (if you'll excuse the expression). The people who would benefit the most from the service are frequent travelers; they typically already have some sort of elite membership in their airline's frequent flyer program, and in most airports that gets them into a special security line that's usually much shorter than the regular one. Why pay $200 a year when you're getting 90% of the benefits already?
