What have I done to keep my self somewhat fit recently?
Exercise. Exercise. Exercise
I have slowed a bit since the flu, and Thanksgiving. But I am noticing a paunch??? What gives?
And I am up 8-10 lbs! Is it muscle or fat?
Something has changed in the last few weeks.
My diet when exercising consisted of:
Breakfast:
High Protein Cereal (Go Lean), Toast with honey, maybe peanut butter, jam. And one or two hard boiled egg whites.
Lunch;
Turkey, Turkey Ham,Turkey Bologna Sandwich, or Tuna. Carrot sticks, Flax Seed Chips. Cranberry juice, or lots of water
Dinner
I usually eat lots of skinless chicken breast, fish, very little beef
Lots of hard boiled egg whites (good protein) which I sometimes add to my stir fry veggies. Only after major gym time.
Veggies: Peas, broccoli, Sweet Potatoes, or Brown Rice.
Apples, fresh fruit for dessert.

Drugs: Only when doing lots of gym time
Flax seed oil
Amino Acid Fuel (good!)
Whey Protein Isolate
Tribulus
Doing all this with gym work outs has increased my muscle, and made me much leaner. So why all of a sudden I have a bloated belly?

Maybe one two, or three reasons?

1. COOKIES! CANDY! COOKIES! CANDIES!!! With the holidays, residents and vendors keep dumping boxes of cookies, candies on my desk, and I just can't stop eating!!!!!
2. Gultamine?
I just started taking after a 6 month break, a different type of Creatine. Micronized Creatine. It suppose to be absorbed more quickly, and non bloating. That I am not sure about. The previous brand would really bloat. That's why I stopped. Plus it can make you moody. But I don't remember it hitting the tummy. During the workout, one is to take daily in order to reach a "Loading Phase", which last about 2 weeks. After that one is to stop taking it for the next 2 weeks, then repeat the cycle. My loading phase stops next week. So? Is my tummy cookies, glutamine or both?
3. Possibly too much protein? Since I was not working out as much, I maybe should of slowed down on protein intake?

I have also noticed that lately, I am drinking too much coffee, and not enough water. I have also been hungrier lately. Maybe snacking on the sweets has made me hungrier. So munchies hungry I have gone through a 16oz of peanut butter in 4 days. With bread. Twice! Oy!

I need to monitor better.

So tonight I just got back from the gym. I did 45 min of crunches and the tread mill (fast walk, running bad for my knees). We shall see what happens.
