I surprisingly made it to the gym this morning, in spite a of a very late Saturday night in SF. After my 2 hr gym stint, I was then off to Pacifica, for tan, car wash, and coffee at the pier. Then home for lunch, quick shower, and the off to the Eagle Beer Bust to catch up with friends. Warm sun, beer, and yummy grilled burgers = a very packed house of scantily dressed & shirtless patrons to behold.
The Lone Star was forgotten, in favor of visiting a new venue down the street, "TRUCK". Paul, a former "humpy" bartender of "Daddy's (Sarah, you remember him well..Woof!) is now tending this place (and rumored to be one of the owners). Eddy,(new in town) is the other tender. This "very" friendly man, is the perfect example of Colt/Bear magazine model material (Woof ! Woof!. Ok..... Woof again!). He'll certainly be bringing in the business, and getting big tips!). This nice clean bar, also serves hot food! :-)
I finally made hotel reservations for Palm Springs. The resorts were suprisingly pricy; but it is peak season. Delighted, I/we decided to stay at "OZZ Resort". My third stay there, (formally the Desert Palms (Desperate Palms)). The rooms, bar, and restaurant have been nicely remodeled. It is walking distance to the shops, The Villas(great food), Barrack's, and Sidewinder's. Fun we will have!
After my trip to Lazy Bear Weekend(Russian River), and Southern Decadence (New Orleans), in August, my summer will have been almost complete :-)
