part 3 of my clinic visit..
I forgot to mention, (and sorry to bring this up again) I did ask the nurse about the staph virus. He sort of scoffed and said that the press is making a bigger deal of it that it is. However there is some danger that the virus could mutate and become more of a problem. Some of the cause is people in the Chrystal Meth. environment.
Another nurse, one that lives in my building said that the virus has been around for quite a long time (she works at SF General). She has seen patients with it, and said that with mega doses and drips of antibiotics, it has been alleviated.
They seem nonchalant about it, but in any case, guess we still need to be careful. :)

Ha! So right. In fact the nurse did say, "we all got to die of something", in a nonchalant manner. How cold. But he was right.
