day off

even though I took the day off, due to Folsom Street Fair, I was home early last night, actually behaved (somewhat... well actually mostly), and up woke up early. So much for sleeping in. With the warm sun yesterday, mixed with a bit of alcohol, and the parties the previous nights, I just started to shut down. No matter how cute a guy was at the fair, I was not interested. I just wanted to go home and veg. I am a bit tired but could not sleep in. Today I get my oil changed, get passport application completed, need signature from my dentist in Palo Alto, and mailed, and later the gym.
Weather is to be sunny (I think). Overcast (fog) with drizzle at the moment.
I am actually not really melancholy, but a bit depressed. Not sure why. In part I know, and am working on it :o)



One important thing accomplished last weekend is that I finally hung most of my pictures up on the walls. YAY! Now I feel settled in. My procrastination (8 months) is slowly dwindling :o)

upgrade; WTF???

Awhile back, I upgraded my iMac operating system to the OS X version. It is working great. In the old operating system, my Entourage Application, in which I stored addresses, birthdays etc, would notify me of these important upcoming dates. Not sure why I did not notice before, but I was wondering why it was not notifying me of my nephews birthday today. Maybe it had been disabled during the upgrade. I just opened up the application up to find it completely empty of any information #$%*$*#*$!!!! This is 5 + yrs of info. I searched the system for any back ups that may have been done automatically during the upgrade. NONE. I don't remember backing it up on disk as I usually do (can't find the disk)
I think I forgot to back this up (Oy!). Support told me nothing would change upon upgrade. Oy again! Oh well. The rains will be coming soon, so that will be a good time to input again..... "such a blond I is!!!!"
