You can practice your French

For those who know me well, this may be of interest. Apparently, my childhood home, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada practically burned down a few weeks ago, started by a woman dropping a cigarette on her house coat. She then stripped off her burning coat, which then caught the building on fire, I lived in this double brick constructed home until 1959(yes I am old lol), before eventually moving to California. I am surprised it did not burn totally. Most of the interior walls were British Colombia Redwood paneling, and cherry wood flooring. Anyway my parents sold it (1959) for a whopping $15,000 to move to California and pay 3 times more for a house 2/3 as large :-(.

Anyway the newspaper is in French (of course... I can't find an English version).... so here is some practice for you French buffs (David who is taking French). You may have to "Save As" to your desktop and enlarge to read.

Back from Sac

Still doing the "helping my sister move mom thing". Going very well. She is happier. Her new place is starting to look great! I actually was too slow this weekend. My fucking legs are so sore from the gym on Friday, hardly get out of the car, off the toilet, or bend them completely. I should of worked out lightly yesterday. It may of helped. Know it's part of the no pain no gain thing, but my slow 85 yr old mother was moving easier than me (lol). I did go out Saturday night in Sac (they have really nice venues) to get my gay fix. But not for long. It was pouring rain, small crowd, and I was too sore and tired to really get into it. I even skipped the Eagle/Lone Star on my way home today. My friends think I died. Off to the gym at 6:30 am. So off to sleep (I only go early on the days for bench presses. That way no waiting). Other days I go at night. I really need to brave the showers (I am shy, and they may freak out about my nipple rings).I'll have to get some butch white towels (all I have is salmon colored towels (pinky up). But who knows, I may meet someone. Even in a so called "straight" gym (lol) ;-)

melancoly.....it's over

I am just coming to the relizaton, as I do every yr, that our fun street fairs and outdoor events are behind us until next year. Thanksgiving is approaching, holidays, New Yrs will be upon us soon. We will be seeing some of our friends a bit less, due to weather, holiday obligations etc.

Aside from New Yrs, which I really never made a big deal about, the next event coming up will be IBR (yay).... can't wait!
