Accomplished.
1. Cleaned most of my apartment, for my sister's visit on Saturday
2. Chips (my turtle) was out of the tank watching. But hid under the bed once the vacuum started
3. Now he is outside in his bowl eating. Tuna will be his later surprise treat
4. So I put all the porn away in a trunk (I forgot I had lots more in there! Gads!), and in bags behind clothes in the closet.
5. Question.
I have friends in SF that display tasteful, and some quite provocative gay porn artwork on the walls of their homes. They also have their DVD shelves neatly displaying regular movies, and gay porn. Either that is "really coming out", or they just don't care? Or does it really matter?
I am thinking of dedicating the lower 3-4 shelves of my DVD case, which is behind the 2nd bedroom door to these DVD's. Also on the lower self of my bedroom TV stand. So unless someone is really looking or searching, they will see it. I am really fed up of hiding everything (except when my 86 yr old mom visits).
I for some gut reason, feel I need to put it all away. Is that going back into the closet? Is that old school? Does it really matter? Or should I worry about offending anyone?
What would you do? How do you feel about this?

On CSPAN tonight I am watching Dr. Cheryl Nickerson of ASU, talk about the findings of Salmonella and its genetic changes in space. Salmonella accounts for 35% of deaths in the US, and even greater world wide. Studying how these and other viruses react and mutate in space, may hold a key for cures here on earth.

Here they are asking the House Science Subcommittee for more appropriations, and more time, to continue their research. More time for private and commercial medical research.
Sad thing is, is that the Space Shuttle is due to retire in 2016. So then what next? Scrap research on the space station before it is all is complete?
