cellboy: (Starship)
1. I am not going to post this in FB. Too much work, and no one reads the link anyway (lol)
2. My trainer canceled last night, had to work late. So I was on my own. I really pushed hard, as if he were there. I did good.
3. Then did my 4 loads of laundry, did the just for men on my goatee. Then crashed
4. Huge burrito for lunch today. And ate it too fast as usual
5. Finished up on spreading 12 bags of redwood bark in the front beds. On a full stomach. Now I have heartburn
6. If I can move fast enough after work, I think I'll go to IMax to see Star Trek (7:30 showing). The earlier the better, to assure a good seat? Then off to the basket contest at the Powerhouse :)
7. I think the rains have ceased for the year. I really need to wash windows, plant new plants. Need to do major food shopping too (was payday today!)
8. Two birthday/fundraisers to attend this weekend.
9. So a quiet weekend. Nothing earth shattering.
10 I wonder if some straight men have gaydar?

Where I work and live :P

1. Made it to the Metreon, a bit late due to bad traffic and a bus accident, so the IMax was sold out
2. Saw it on the reg screen. But will go again, mid week for an IMax viewing
3. I did get sappy in two parts;
4. The beginning when we first see the starship, I got a big lump in my throat. Impressive.
5. And at the end, when they started to play the old theme song (I actually got teary eyed)
6. Guess it's because, I remember, at the age of 13, watching the first season (what ever happened to my starship model I so lovingly built?)
7. At 13 yrs old, I was not really paying too much attention, to every detail, but the show was my fave.
8. And today, whether it is Canon or not, I still enjoyed it. Had all the adventure, and bit of humor it has always had.
9. I just wonder why they had Spock narrate the ending sequence rather than William Shatner (or at least replay the old sound byte. (Legalities?)
10. Was a good view

Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations; to boldly go where no man has gone before.

PS I believe they said "no one", instead of "no man has gone before" :(
