with teary eyes, I am disappointed with the California Supreme Court decision. California was once known as a progressive state on all aspects (that is one reason our family moved here, in the 60's from Quebec, which now seems to have it's act together)

I know he just wants to keep things business as usual, impersonal, and vanilla which is understandable and his choice. But wouldn't it be nice if he came out on CNN and stated his views of Prop 8, gay marriage etc....
It would be an added feather in our cap.

Prop 8, gay life, and inconsistencies

OK. Today, there is the Court decision on Prop 8. Then on the other hand, one of our own is honored with this preveledge (and rightfully so). So we are struck down by one hand, and lifted up by the other....... this gets confusing.
