weekend update blurb
Jun. 8th, 2009 12:35 pm1. Saturday, after the gym stuff, I went to the Sprint store to see what kind of upgrade and specials if any (the good special prices are on the web site).
2. I was close to buying the Instinct, but the sales rep (who is pretty techie) talked me out of it, saying it slow on the web, and that the new Palm Pre is the closest to the iPhone (iphone has all the apps, these do not. They have the market on it).
3. So again I decided to wait. I like Sprint, but may change over to AT&T, just for the iPhone.
4. Saturday night I had a great time. Friend John was visiting from Pender Is, BC,
5. We hit the Castro Bars, then ended up having a delightful dinner at TripTych. We just gabbed and gabbed.
6. I kidding-ly said, that I have nothing to say, since he reads my journal anyway. He howled over that one. He will be coming by this week, and will help him get set up on LJ. He dislikes FB, but loves LJ :). Speaking of blogs, he told me to check out Ruffys Nut House. It is nutty! And very NSFW!!!!! eep!!!
7. We then ended back to the Castro, at 440. Ran into Jeff (woof! the other half of "Mama's Back Door Men (yes red hankie). He said he would love to have me over sometime, for 3 way, play party way, whatever. Oy! Will think about that one. We stayed till closing.
8. Then I was home by 2:30 am.
9. Sunday, with little sleep, it was off to the gym, then to San Jose for Butch Beer Bust. That was a very nice change. Renegades is a nice bar. Many of my SF friends would not come with me. (Remember: Most SF girls are terrified to venture out of the city. Unless it is Palm Springs, Russian River, or some huge event elsewhere. But the suburbs? Never. They might get eaten alive! Their loss)
10. After a few enjoyable hours, I then ended up in Mt. View, at friend David's yearly Gay and Lesbian Pot luck. Most had left, but a nice time was had.
11. I did not drink that much, but slept lousy. So Tired today. And think I am on the edge of another cold, or is it allergies?
