I actually have been enjoying X-Factor this season, except for now.
1. The idea of the judges mentoring the groups in teams is great.
2. And the group of new talent has been phenomenal (I'd say better than what has been seen on AI). I think Melanie Amaro will win.
3. But the part that has been bothering me was how or the way the finalists are slowly, one by one, booted off the show.
4. America votes for the top ones. But the fate of the bottom two finalists of the group, are in the hands of the Judges.
5. The two preform one more time. Then the judges decide.
6. Last week, Paula Abdul, was in tears, trying to make the final vote on who was to go home. Both performers were good.
7. This week, Nicole Scherzinger, could not decide between Rachel Crow (the cute 13 yr old) or Marcus Canty (the cute 20 yr old). And they were both good this week.
8. The way the producers have the end of the show dragging out with commercials etc, to anguish not only the audience (that's the point;to keep us in suspense), but to torment the contestants, to the point of breaking down, is cruel. Why not feed these poor kids to the lions for all to watch?
9. I'd say American Idol, produces their show with much better taste.
10. Although, I was not for Rachel to go further; the way the show was tormenting her and Marcus to the end, was annoying. Is this Hell Week at Watsamatta U?
11. Sad to say, I will still watch this show, to watch the new found talent, and to see who will eventually win the 5 M and record contract.
