A man who defined much of our generation, is dead. RIP - Michael Jackson

I first saw his first debut on Ed Sullivan, and have watched him change and grow, in good and in interestingly strange ways. His talent and presence will be missed

!

Today, many people passing by the office said to the idea of "Too bad Farrah got upstaged by Michael".

And a friend said

"I THINK IT'S VERY TACKY FOR RYAN O'NEAL TO MARRY A DEAD WOMAN, I THINK IT' TACKIER FOR MICHAEL JACKSON TO HAVE TO OUT DO FARRAH ON HER STEP DOWN!!!!!"

Did the Death of Michael Jackson, slow down LJ servers?

Minutes after I heard the news of Michael Jackson's death, it virtually took me minutes to log on. Once I did, posting was at a "freeze". Then after several attempts, of logging on, then off, then on again, I get a LJ message, stating it is in maintenance at the moment. Did anyone else have this LJ moment? (FB had no problems).

Looks like artic_fox may have, as others did, that commented to his post.
