It's only tuesday?
Nov. 3rd, 2009 04:31 pm1. A woman in our building just passed away on Sunday. In her late fifties early sixties, she rode around the complex on her scooter, and her oxygen tank (she had smoked since her teens, and sneaked a few puffs off and on even this yr (her husband would catch her in the act)) . Pumped up on Prednisone, and other medications, we knew her time was coming. Her husband is a basket case :(
2. She used to feed the ferrel cats behind the building. What will they do now? I actually would rather see them hunt. Keeps the mice away :)
3. Aside from that, on the good side the weather is unbelievable. It is San Jose summer weather up here in South San Francisco.
4. So far today, I am caught up. Have the building almost full (and they say the rental market is slow?). This also means lots of little bonuses, which all add up nicely :)
5. I decided not to hook up with the Aussie this week. I guess it's his time to call, which he has not. All the better. With gym Wednesday, a birthday party in Mountain View on Thursday night, and I think he flies home Thursday or Friday anyway. I'm actually intrigued by the one on the houseboat. But I need a face pic first!
6. I'm glad the weather was nice during Halloween. The little kids in Noe Valley looked so cute, and not wet and chilled, as it was last year.
7. Back to work. Have a future resident (woof!) coming in to sign a lease.

"V" and...
Nov. 3rd, 2009 10:00 pm1. Tonight's premier of V was interesting. So far pretty much a "formula" plot. Aliens disguised as humans, to eventually annihilate us. Son abandons mother to join the clan (you know they will confront each other later on, to have either of them to make a life threatening decision, or to be saved by each other, to live happy again together. This may be an interesting watch, or a tedious one as the season matures.
2. Dancing With The Stars continues. I figured that Michael and Anna would be eliminated. Michael improved tremendously over the season. But not enough in as compared to the others. Now it's getting really cut throat. Mark and Lacy did well, with the Cha Cha Cha, but seems as if he did not do much in number of dance steps. Arron and Karina, did well, with the jive. But it seemed Arron was repeating the same thing as last night's routine.
3. The Forgotten and the cast is good. Not too complex in script and plot, but entertaining.
