Last night, with nothing really exciting on television, I decided to watch The Social Network, on Pay-per-View. I'm a bit behind the eight ball on movies, but with this one, I had decided to wait till it became available on DVD or on PPV. Although a bit slow at the beginning, and "over the head" for me with regards to the geekness of programing talk, the film unfolded in a good and exciting way. I can see why it received a Golden Globe.
I always wonder of the accuracy of the events, and of the characters in films such as this. Of Zuckerberg, is it just jealousies from others, is why they portray him as the Bitch? Was Zuckerberg a bad guy, or not?. Or was he just swooped away too quickly to catch his breath?

I know a few people that know Larry Ellison. They say he is not so nice. Is that part of his unbridled success? Or is it his being too focused on issues at hand, that portray him as not being not so nice? Yet on the other hand, I hear that Bill Gates is a really nice guy (I had the opportunity of eating next to him at Tylers in Palm Springs a few years ago. He seemed so unassuming and a gentleman). And the same goes for the Hewletts. Nice people too.
In any case the pacing and timing of the film was excellent. But I'm glad I watched in on PPV vs at the theater. Popcorn is cheaper at home! LOL!
