Some hot Cats!

Our Routine was a hit! "Keep it Gay"
1. Well of course, Friday night.... it didn't snow. The newscasts did however show us some flakes in Daly City (not the one's on two feet). But nothing to permanently cover the surrounding mountain tops. The rain/snow clouds had pretty much dissipated by then.

2. It was a quick trip to SF Friday night, but did not stay out long. After a quick stint to the Castro, it was out for Chinese dinner. Then home by 10:30 pm. I really did not want to push my nagging cough any further.

3. Saturday it was just the usual. Errands and all. Went to the Design Center for a quick 15 minute rehearsal for Saturday night's Imperial Coronation event.

4. The event was held at a smaller venue, the Design Center, vs the Gift Center. Same layout, but a smaller version.

5. Our routine with candidate Ray Mackenzie went very well. Although he did not win the election (voting was the previous weekend), the response to our performance was very positive :)

6. Saybeline won as Empress, and her husband Frankie won as Emperor.

7. After Coronation event it was off to Marlena's for a wonderful show, then home.

8. Sunday was sleep in time, then off to 440 for Don Ho's 49th birthday party. During that time, most were glued to the TV monitors watching the Academy Awards.

9. This morning it was off to Kaiser for a chest X-ray, to see if lungs are OK with regards to cough. They turned out clear. My doc gave me the option of antibiotics if I feel I am not improving. I'll probably opt for it.
