The weekend and week so far
May. 2nd, 2011 04:00 pm1. Friday was a good time out with the "girls."
2. The usual stop to the Sun, but not 440 this time. We ended up at Toad Hall. Even though the owner is a "Pill", I must say avoiding this bar because of him is difficult. It's a nice bar, with usually a very nice crowd.
3. Before going home, Jim and I ate at Marcello Pizza. I really don't know why we keep doing this. I always have to get up in the middle of the night to get some baking soda and water to squelch my heartburn.
4. I was up early on Saturday, did my food shopping, went to Old Navy to get some cheap tank tops and T's.
5. Then back to SF to hang out with friends. But home for the rest of the evening to just relax
6. Later that night a friend had Text-ed me that the Eagle was definitely closed Saturday night. The Sisters were to have a function on Sunday. Wonder where the event was moved to, if that?
7. Unaware that SSF had it's main street closed for a street fair on Sunday, I ventured to my gym. 30 minutes later I was able to find parking. I was so tempted to turn back and go home. But I didn't. YAY! As part of the fair, the gym has an open house. I was still able to work out (only 4 members were there including me). Some of the visitors that came in were hot! Hope they join! LOL
8. Then it was off to warm and sunny San Jose to BUTCH's 2nd anniversary. It was packed, noisy, and noisy music. But I must say the DJ does a great job. It was good seeing
dendren, Bob, and JB. To my surprise my hot muscular cowboy friend Cliff ventured out from Modesto. He met up with some nice friends from Tracy. It was also nice to see Panda, Harrison, and Brian, down from SF too! The mid afternoon announcement of Bin Laden being killed, sent joyous cheer throughout the bar. It was odd. The person who made the announcement repeated it again, but this time he said Obama was killed. Oy! Guess the announcer was a bit plastered!
9. Again the food was pizza. Home by about 8 pm, I made a salad, with chicken breast, yellow sweet tomatoes, and some Portabello mushrooms. Was in bed by 11, but up again with slight heartburn from the pizza.
10. Not sure why, but all week, and weekend I have been waking up at 1 am, and then at 3am. However I have not been as tired in the morning as I used to be. Must be getting enough zzzz'z in any case
11. Back to work!
