1. The owners of the building I manage are of course, predicting a visit next Tuesday.

2. We have our punch list and more, to do before then.

3. There was a threat yesterday of a visit, but nothing happened.

4. So I am out of office clothes, and in jeans touch up painting the hallways, cleaning this and that.

5. Actually we are always in pretty good shape. But of course they look for or seem to look for the worst.

6. With this lousy weather, fog and drizzle every day, in the am especially, it is impossible to get started on curb painting (oil base), and exterior railing painting.

7. We usually have the large windows of the building professionally washed 3 times a year.

8. I did it last month, for the owner visit that never happened. It then rained the same week (unusual for this time of year). Then seeing it was sunny last week, had them washed again, last Saturday. The fog got so heavy on Monday, it rained. Again. Well that was a wasted $1200.

9. Except for a few, most look OK. Not doing them again. Still too drizzly anyway

10. Looks like tonight is stay home night for most of the group of friends. Since we are all going to friend Tom and Lee's wedding tomorrow, best save our energy for that one.

11. But then, that plan might change! ;)

12. Back to painting!

1. When at Lucky's last week, I purchased some Organic Peanut Butter. I just started shopping at Lucky's. I am usually a Safeway shopper.

2. I thought I would give it a try. Never heard of the brand.

3. I usually buy good old fashioned Peanut Butter. The stuff you stir before putting in the fridge (the grocery store label brand is just as good. Safeway's is excellent!)

4. I opened it. Tasted it. YUK!

5. Tastes like dried peanuts mixed with saw dust!

6. The label says, it is made with 95% peanuts, and some Palm Oil. Palm Oil? Yuk!(it reminds me of Clove Oil, which smells odd)

7. Next time I need to bring my reading glasses when food shopping.

8. I just wanted Peanuts in it's own oil.

9. Well being from the generation of waste not want not, I will not throw it out. I will tolerate it.

10. As for Lucky's, I'm not totally used to their brands. So far I like Safeway Lucerne Products (cottage cheese, butter, dairy) best. They seem to taste better. The Safeway Organics Vanilla Soy milk tastes way better than the Lucky's stuff (not as thick and heavy on the vanilla taste).

11. I'll give Lucky's a bit longer trial
