As the end of Leather Week approaches
Sep. 24th, 2011 05:08 pm1. Friday night was the usual outing with friends in the Castro. Many met at 440 to say goodbye to Ho's roommate who is moving back to Hawaii. No job was to be found for him here; he has a few iron in the fire on the island, so back he goes.
2. Tom,
joe6pack3, is on his way from Sacramento, to join me in tonight's pre-Folsom Fair frolics in the Castro and SOMA.
3. We will be going to Donna Sachet's annual Folsom Fair brunch, Sunday morning before the fair. Poor Jim has to work.
4. Hope the weather turns out better than today. Last night even though fog was here, the Castro was warm and balmy. Musicians on the streets (2 were very good! They should apply to American Idol!). Men in shorts, no shirts were to be found.
5. And of course he tourists in their full leathers. Don't know why but total leather seemed a bit out of place at 440. Actually it seems that the leather scene has seemed to almost disapear, or gone underground.
6. With tomorrow's weather forecast to be continued fog, and a bit warmer, chaps may be in order for wear (if they fit). If not, the tight jeans, my favorite LA DETOUR tank, and a leather vest.
7. Folsom Fair tends to be more of a tourist thing with straight people gawking, while pushing their kids around in strollers. I like Dore Alley Fair so much better.
