Fun at Edge Bar

1. From last Thursday to last night, it's been pretty busy. In bed early last night, and into a deep sleep, I actually slept through the 4.0 earthquake this morning.

2. Thursday was of course was the Lenny Broberg Roast that I told you about (more pics here)

3. Friday was out with the girls.... I really should of stayed home. I was too tired from a busy work week.

4. Saturday morning, after gym, it was scrambling to food shop, and to make a casserole for Ho's 50th birthday that afternoon at 440.

5. The party started at 4 and went on until 7. It was very nice. I'd say there were maybe 50 attending, and a total of a 100 passing though for a birthday wish and some food.

6. Many showed up in leather, for the SF Leather contest was that night also.

7. I chose not to go to that event, so I ended up at the Edge Bar with Patrick, Carlos, Tom, and Lee. Had a fun time, watching the go go dancers. We later ended up at the Lone Star, to smoke a few cigars. The Star was not very crowded. Too bad. But with the tease of summer weather in the air this weekend, standing out on the patio was quite comfortable.

8. Home fairly early, I managed to sleep in a bit. Went to the to gym the next morning, then another rush up to SF again.

9. With Sunday being a gorgeous warm day, I first when to Ho's to unload his gifts that were stored in my trunk the night before. Then ended up having brunch with Tom, Lee, Ho, and Mark at Squat and Gobble. Sitting outdoors in the sun felt really nice.

10. After brunch, it was the 45 min drive down to San Jose, to the BUTCH event. It was my friend, Khol's 50th birthday that day, so thought I would meet him there and celebrate his big day.

11. Most were dressed in jeans or shorts and tank tops due to the warmer weather. Only one man was dressed in full leather. Cap, jacket, leather pants, harness, boots. He must of been warm!
Even though he seemed to look out place, he looked hot (and smelt like a new car with leather upholstery as he walked by). I don't see much of this total dress in SF (not even many at the Powerhouse wear that much leather). Too bad.

12. After eating the wonderful Costco pizza's served, it was time to call it a night.

13. In bed by 10:30pm, I slept heavy. I did wake up for a split second, hearing a sound, thinking it was the tree branch moving in the wind and hitting my window screen. Guess it was the rattling of my place with our 4.0 quake. I just went back to sleep oblivious there even was a quake.

14. I hope I don't sleep though the "Big One".

15. Today my car is in the shop for rear brakes, oil change, and maybe a new ignition switch. Boo. Car issues never end :(
