1. When it comes to police chiefs, officers, assemblymen, the leather community, and drag queens all honoring a man who served the community for over 20 yrs, you know he's important.
2. Last nights events honoring Lenny Broberg's 20the anniversary, as Mr IML (and Mr SFL), was truly wonderful. Seeing straight, the LGBT community together made it worth attending
3. Sister Roma's funny poem, about Lenny was ingenuous. She will publish it soon, which when she does, I'll post it
4. Seeing men, and women I have not seen in months, even years was great.
5. Even though it seems the leather community is dying (or is it just evolving to something else?), this brought fond memories when I was a bit more active in the community.
6. Plus like a man looking hot in a suit, these men look even hotter in Leather! Woof! There was some hot eye candy last night. Colt model material! (well the leather does help)
7. The Police Chief, gave a moving speech (he's cute, but straight), asking all of us to persuade Lenny to accept the offer of becoming Sargent.
8. Except for Bevan Dufty (SF Board of Supervisors) blatantly cruising me like 4 or 5 times (he is not my type!), I had a great time.
9. Lenny's speech was moving. He will be stepping down as MC for many events this year (this years (this Sunday) MR SF Leather Contest will be his last), to give as he says, to those younger, as it was given to him.
10. Lenny was always there to help practically every community in the Bay Area. A devoted man. With a heart the size of SF.
11. Here is a synopsis of last night's event (pictures are scattered on Facebook, and Rich Trove will have some too, which I'll share later
