The week so far
May. 17th, 2012 01:57 pm1. Last weekend, was the usual stuff, but Sunday, I did enjoy the ride down Hwy 280, to the cemetery to place flowers on my Mom, Dad, and late partner's grave.
2. I find it interesting that out in the cemetery, where the grave stones are, lots of visiting families picnic, next to their deceased loved one. Some even set up large beach umbrellas, and chairs!
3. So much different than years ago. Next we'll see them grilling steaks!
4. Aside from losing it with a resident this week (this picky, annoying resident that is constantly complaining about noise everywhere, and has has fights with several neighbors, just set me off, with yet another dumb complaint). I did later apologize. He also apologized. He is actually pretty nice.....but a bit off.
4. I had these two small skin lumps under my nipple, that seemed to be slowly growing. My Doc thought that it may be due to the nipple rings over the years irritating. Maybe an allergic reaction. The rings, or ball of the ring, may not be surgical steel, but maybe Cadmium (although some could also be allergic to surgical steel). One ring has been out for almost 2 yrs, but the small growth seemed to still be maybe growing.
5. So he had be see the Dermatologist yesterday. Apparently what I have is common. Some sort of wart/cyst or something. Not a Keloid. Maybe caused in part by some irritation. Not cancerous. Yay
6. So he did not cut it out, but ended up attacking them with liquid Nitrogen.
7. Ouch! A piercing feels less pain. Plus it was a constant application.
8. So it should slowly die, dry up, and I guess wither away
9. The small pain all day after that procedure was not too bad. It actually felt kinda hot :)
10. A last minute decision, but my friend Will from SoCal, and his BF are coming up to visit me this weekend. So of course it's the scramble to do laundry and tidy up the place.
11. I finally got 3 new hanging file drawers for my tiny office. 2 fit, but the 3rd one just won't work. Spent all morning sorting, throwing out, and organizing paperwork.
12. This Sunday is Mama's 70th Birthday Celebration at Beat Box. Mark is organizing it. And of course our group will be helping him out. I'm at the front door collection funds for the beer bust. Should be a fun time!
