1. Unlike my boring or maybe I should say predictable weekends, it was fun, busy and wet!

2. Friday, last minute I decided to take BART into SF, meet my friends (I really should of stayed home). Unfortunately after having too much fun, I missed the last BART train home, and had to stay at Ho's house.

3. He always is nice to offer me to crash. And I have many a time. Bad thing is he has to sleep with the TV on. He snores. Or with his recent sore back, every-time he turned, he would yell "Ouch!". His large Cal King is great though. There is room!

4. But sleeping, or should I say barely sleeping, with contacts on, in a cold apt (he keeps his windows open), really through me off on Saturday.

5. So up early, I left Ho's house, in the pouring cold rain, walked from Diamond Heights to Castro Street (Noe Valley). Caught a bus to the Castro, then onto Muni, then BART home. Home by 8:30 am, I cranked up the furnace, and went to bed (with earplugs in) and slept till noon.

6. I missed my meet up with Tom and Lee at the gym. But that was OK. There is always Sunday. Plus I had 2 Christmas parties to attend. One at the "Two Daves" home in San Carlos (this is an annual thing that I have been going to for years), and a new party in SF at Tony and Cody Harts (one of these gay partners took the name of the other). Woof! A bear party!!!

7. The Dave's party had the usual same yearly crowd. Mostly straight. Some gay. I had a really good time. Ended up talking and catching up with those that I see only at this time of year. And also to a very nice, smart cute guy (in his 20's, and straight with a girlfriend).

8. One of the most intelligent guys I have met in a long time. I just kept thinking, "Damn he is so kissable, to bad he's straight!". LOL

9. I don't know what it is this year but by the time 6 or 7 pm arrives, it seems as if it is later in the night. It felt like 10 pm! Not because I had no sleep. It has been feeling like this all week. Others said the same thing too. Did not feel like that last year.

10. So after gorging myself with food and a bit of drink, it was off to SF to the Hart's Open House party. I left the Dave's around 7:30pm. And the drive seemed to take forever.

11. Forever due to the rain. The wind. The streams of water flowing over the freeway. It as raining so hard, the windshield wipers could not keep up. I think most on the freeway were going at the most 40 miles per hour. Of course there are a few zipping by at 70 mph

12. After a tedious job of finding parking in this Glen Park neighborhood, made it there, to a party that had gone on for sometime (the party is to end at 10 pm). I

13. I felt a bit out of place, due to most were already clicked in groups. Or knew each other really well (our group does the same thing, so I know how other people, or new people would feel). This is a normal thing, and seeing I did get there late, a few that I had hoped to see (Harry Lit and his partner Allen) had gone.

14. There were some big men! Woof! Cute cubs, muscle cubs, otters, and actually the many that I usually see at Friday haunts in the Castro.

15. I ended the evening talking with a nice guy, Rick, that I have seen out and about before. He has lived in Mt View for years, so at least I could talk about stuff familiar to both of us.

16. Tired, and almost 10 pm, it was back to home, on the wet and windy freeway, to my home, warm sheets and my earplugs. Someone told me it was really windy Thursday night. Never heard it. Love my earplugs!

17. Sunday I was up at a decent hour, 8 am, did the gym, then later that afternoon took BART back to the Castro to Furry Sunday, at 440. I'd say about 20 people that were at the party were there, including Rick. Waved hello's. Hugged and kissed the Hart's a big thank you for inviting me.

18. Back at the MUNI station to get home for Amazing Race, I sat on the bench with this cute man, probably in his late 20's. He starts talking to me, about how he was new to all of this. This gay stuff. Bi stuff. He then says that his girlfriend does not like what he is doing, but it does help bring in money. Times are tough. OY! After a few minutes of talking, the train arrived. We stood up, and I told him good luck; gave him a quick kiss (his lips were hot).

19. I was home in time for Amazing Race (well almost. I missed the first 30 minutes). Had dinner, then in bed by 11. But woken up at 2 am by flashing lightning. Did not hear any thunder, but again, I had my earplugs in.

20. Bit busy Monday, and think it will be busy today too (if you see me post this afternoon, it's not busy :)
