Busy! Busy! Busy!
Aug. 29th, 2013 08:39 amI've been so busy no time to post (FB I do for it's easier) or even catch up on reading both LJ or FB.
For example, yesterday I met with new landscaper rep, worked on the CRI's, 3 lease renewals, 2 new leases, updated minol, real page, and rent sentinel, made phone calls, answered the phone calls, and dealt with resident issues, and dealt with interruption after interruption. By then half the day was gone. I still needed to continue to deal with the owner's punch list of questions, and continue working on the 2014 budget (only 40% done). I'm the only one person in the office. I should start working overtime. But then HR will question the use of too much overtime. NO WONDER I LOOK FORWARD TO HAPPY HR ON FRIDAYS !!!! (If I'm not too pooped to participate!)
With the few units reduced $150, and a one time $400 credit (to a realistic rate that I told them it should be months ago), we have been swamped!
We are now down to only 1 weekend leasing agent. I am interviewing a prospect next week, and hopefully one more person as well. I may have to work the weekend of Sept 7.
Joseph, friend/co-worker (the weekend person that quit) had a fundraiser at Silver Clouds Karaoke Bar last night, in the SF Marina for a Habitat for Humanity. So friend Carlos and I reluctantly went (usually not out on a work week night). One gal, sang incredibly. Apparently she auditioned for American Idol! If she did not make the cut, the ones that do, must really be good!
