1. I had an easy drive to Sacramento (Granite Bay), to my sister and brother-in-law's home, Christmas eve afternoon. Made it in less than 2 hrs!
2. Had a delightful Christmas Eve dinner with the family and some of my sister's friends. One of my sister's friend after having a bout with cancer, has gone Vegan. My sister being the walking Food Network, made a delicious side entree for her friend. A wonderful salad made with corn, kidney beans and such. She packed a care package for me (some of the rolled turkey breast with stuffing, and that delightful salad. I ate the 2 huge portions of salad when I got home! YUM!
3. After dinner, the guests left, and it was time to have the opening of presents with the family.
3. Even though we all were to only buy one present for only one person, the process of opening gifts seemed to take forever, due to the gifts everyone bought for my nephew's 3 yr old boy (he was determined to open everyone's gift too :)
4. In bed and asleep by 1 am, we were all up Christmas morning by 9am, to say our goodbyes to my nephew, his wife, 3 yr old boy and his new 3 week old brother. They had other in-laws in Redwood City to spend time with.
5. Since my sister and brother-in-law had 4 previous days with the new baby and family, I decided to go home Christmas day, to give them some quiet time alone, to open up their gifts and all.
6. Out the door my noon, it took me almost 4 hrs to get home! Traffic was slow.
7. A quiet evening at home, I was asleep by midnight, and slept in till 11 am! That felt great!
8. Later that day it was off to Leticias for 6pm for friend Tom's birthday.
9. I haven't been to Leticias since it closed down years ago. The food then, was not that great. But this time it seemed better.
10. A nice group of 14 men at dinner. We all had a good time. We later ended the evening at 440 of course (it was Furry Sunday, so of course hunks everywhere!)
11. Did have a chance to briefly speak with Allan, Harry Lit's partner. Harry is still in the hospital, doing fine. He has his good days and bad. Looks like he will be there for a while, possibly 6 months!
12. Home fairly early, it's a work day and slow!
