How depressingly annoying (LOL)

Recently I have been getting tons AARP junk mail. :(

I turned 49 a week ago, and three days later received an AARP promotional mailer. I'm not amused.

Why is this a bad thing??

AARP is a HUUUUUGE organisation that gets you *massive* discounts on all sorts of stuff, like plane tickets, and hotel stays, movies, insurance, etc, etc.

Do you not like saving money?

It's just another annoying reminder and step in getting older (LOL). But your right. My parents belong. When my dad was suffering with ALS, the AARP insurance was great. It covered the deductibles 100%. Plus savings on lots other medical supplies. It is really a very strong organization, protecting rights of seniors :)
