a generational thing???

OK. Doing the manual labor stuff at work today. We have 4 stories of large windows in our 4 story hub and rotunda. So I asked the weekend guy, who is probably 25-27 yrs old to wash the inside of them them for me (I would help). I went and got some squeegees. He had never used them??? Last time, he had never made coffee in those large percolator coffee makers? (Our other weekend staff did not know either(gal). I asked him if he had ever cut the grass. Answer NO. And it looks like he never vacuums either. OY! What is it with the young kids? They can't do anything on their own, save, being proficient on the computer? I thought I was spoiled, but sish! Even my hunky nephews are useless. They had cleaning services, gardeners etc growing up.

I grew up cutting lawns, painting houses, rooms, repairing cars (what I could). Cooking, cleaning house, and washing windows. caulking tubs and showers. I can even iron clothes. And sew a button, and darn a sock if I have to. Even install a garbage disposal (and toilet if I had to).

Guess I'd make someone a good wife-husband (lol)

You don't get a lot of experience doing that on the mothership. You see, they're part of the invasion force.
