Sharon Tate/California Dreamin (2 birds; one stone)

After watching last nights news regarding the update on Charles Manson and the Tate Murder, I got a flashback of the film Valley of the Dolls; with good actresses, Patty Duke, Barbara Parkins, Susan Hayward, and Sharon Tate. So here is a tribute to Sharon, with The Mamas and the Papas as background (I remember seeing them in concert! Yes! I am that old! And they were good!)

Sharon was (no, is !!) so much more beautiful than many of the so-called beauties running around these days. ANTM, indeed.. no one on the show this particular season can hold a candle to her. By all accounts, she was a wonderful, gracious woman, and not at all bitchy like many other starlets of the time. I was only 5 when she and the others were slain, but I recall the news broadcasts vividly. Thank you for posting this !!

I remember her on a few TV talk shows, and she really was a shy, and nice woman. In other films, she proved to be not too bad of an actress (not just a B movie babe).
