Annoyed at ............

Update: My mom is out of the hospital and temporarily at a convalescent hospital, in Roseville, recuperating, from her ordeal these past two weeks (this may be grounds for a malpractice suit). My sister and I are on edge, stressed about the whole thing. But my sister ("the glass half full gal"), tries to lighten things up. She said that upon her first arrival at the "Old Folks Home", it was something out of a Mel Brooks film. Sad in one way, but funny in another. People sitting in chairs, staring into outer space, some talking to themselves. And some so excited to see someone new (as my sister walked through the front door).

What's annoying is that it takes me several times, if not hrs to reach my mom by phone. Unless Mom answers the phone herself. Reason being is that my mom is sharing a room (and phone) with a woman, Dorothy, who is in another world. Every time I call, Dorothy, with her sweet voice, answers, and states that my mom is not there, and that she does not recognize my Moms name.

OY! I think Dorothy lost OZ long ago..... and Toto too......
