I don't quite get it. The gym members keep circling the parking lot in order find a parking spot as close to the front door of the gym as possible. Now isn't that defeating the whole point of fitness? And wasting time? (I have been guilty of this too :)

Well, it's about 2 miles, (3 miles at the other) and getting off work, at 6pm, I need to get there asap. But at least I take whatever parking comes up :)

What I loved is the aerobic classes attracted those that preferred to park illegally (non-parking and handicapped) at Ballys in Pleasant Hill. I always thought the same thing - you are there to exercise. Oh wait they are there to stand and pose while showing off their new gas guzzler - how silly of me.

Yes. That happens at my Ballys in SSF. LOL. They do stand and pose. I will probably let this membership expire and go to the old style gym downtown. I'm tired of waiting for machines while girls and guys are sitting on them talking on their cell phones, and tired of looking for dumbbells that are spread out all over (they are never returned to their spots)
