Frozen food

Since I work until 6-6:30 pm, and don't get back to the gym until 8pm, I have gotten lazy.
1. I rarely buy fresh veggies (except spinach in the bag for a salad, and sandwiches) and sweet potatoes(not yams) which I bake ahead of time. Zuchs, carrots, or brussel sprouts, some of the time. But leaning to eating frozen.
2. I usually cook 3-4 chicken breasts ahead of time. And nuke to warm.
3. And if I limit my frozen veggies to purchasing souly at Trader Joe's, they are delicious; Mixed veggies in Balsamic butter sauce, Thai Ginger Carrots with Almonds. Or just the mixed veggies. Just stir fry or nuke.
4. And I eat 1-2 apples for desert (boring)
5. I still need go cook more fresh veggies. It's summer!
6. Blood work shows perfect health, so guess it's ok.

And as a warning: Stay off the internet while cooking, or you'll be bound to burn dinner :)

Excuse me. Don't mean to get my boxers in a bunch here, but, um... WTF is the difference between a sweet potato and a yam?

Seems to me that the sweet potatoes are what you see fresh at the store, whereas yams are canned. Have never seem fresh yams on sale and the only canned sweet potato was some purée for pies.

At the store there are 2 piles. One labeled Yams, the other sweet potatoes (same family). Yams have darker skin, and meat is a darker orange color. Sweet potatoes, the skin is lighter, like a Russet, and meat is lighter in color. SP's are not as heavy on the sweetness, but lightly sweet.
