An AT&T rep told me today that I could unlock an iPhone to work on Sprint. Wrong! Here are some tidbits with regards to unlocking your iPhone to work with other compatible networks.

Date: 2008-07-09 11:14 am (UTC)It gets worse with the 3G iPhone; T-Mobile uses a different standard for high-speed data (UMTS rather than HSDPA) so if you want 3G speeds there's no alternative at all to AT&T in this country.
