disturbing thoughts

cellboyMy visiting friend John, who has been here from Canada for a month visiting friends all over CA, told me that:
1. His psychologist friend said that business is booming. Seems to be a lot more people have been really depressed this year. Due to the economy and all.
2. Another friend, works for the Golden Gate Bridge district. They are being told not to publicize this too much, but he said suicide rates are way up. Highest this year than ever.
