cellboytoday was in the apt complex, and in the beginning stages of changing out the 102 apartment gas meters to "SMART METERS". Later they will do the same with our electric meters. The tech said that this system is much like a GPS system. PG&E can read all the meters from the office in San Francisco, or anywhere in the state.
This will no longer require the nice lesbian lady, to physically visit the property monthly to read each meter in the meter rooms. She's been doing this for years.
I will miss the nice lesbian lady and her visits. I guess that this new technology will again put more people out of work. I hope this does not happen. Our economy sucks enough. And the nice lady is too nice to be laid off.
