1. I was told to hold off on quitting my Sprint cell phone account (been with them for centuries). Hold off on getting the Instinct(suppose to be better than iPhone)
2. I was told Sprint is selling all of it's cellphone towers
3. They are in the process of converting the cell phone system into Broadband
4. I was told Broadband is better. That it will be phenomenal
5. So is Sprint doing this?
6. Is Broadband better? What's the difference?

Wow! Thanks Mr. info :) Well, Sprint was or is in Chap 11, and loosing 4M customers/sec (exaggeration). They lost Comcast as a customer, so that may be part of it. So was holding out to see if the Co will fold or not. I love Sprint. At least here, dropped calls are practically nill. I have such a good deal now (since an old time customer) hate to switch.

About the videos, yeah, um, no. The new 3G has a real GPS unit in it (unlike my iphone, 1st gen), and *nothing* is better than the App Store. The applications in the app store allow for everything else they talk about, and they do it better.

I'm not saying the iphone is perfect (FAAAAAR from it), but it *is* the best thing out there, if you're looking for a device that is an all-around personal internet appliance that also makes phone calls. Multitouch alone makes it infinitely better from a human-computer interaction standpoint.

Keep in mind, your phone will still work, if they go belly-up. I'd stay stick with them, unless you have an OMG SUPER GREAT need to move carriers.
