no weight gain???
Sep. 6th, 2007 07:16 pmafter being decadent, at Southern Decadence with food, wine, drink, fish, oysters, beef, and drink again. And little sleep. I have not gained a pound. What's up with that? Well, I did swell up with the humidity, and lost it all, once back in CA. In any case off to meet my gym trainer after over a week of no work out tomorrow night and Saturday. Last time we met, I doubled my dead lifts in about a week. And hope to do that with the bench press this week and the next. Hope I did not loose my strength over this vacation time. We will see. What I don't understand is he keeps me concentrating on my pecs. They are getting big (which i get complements on). But hope he begins concentrating on other parts soon. We have started on legs and back, and shoulders. But I want him to help me more on my arms. Well..... he is the expert. So we shall see what else pain he will inflict me with :-)

Now, being a big guy, I thought I'd introduce you to something related - the "cargo shift". This is when your size and weight work "out of sync" with each other.
Examples: You haven't gained a lb., but your jeans don't fit. The scale says you're 10 lbs. heavier (or lighter), but it doesn't show in the way your clothes fit.
