If LJ does fold, which I think it won't or at least I hope it won't, it seems that all of us here are mutually attached. Even if someone on my friends list is not on your list, we somehow (6 degrees of separation) are linked to each other (or will eventually friend each other).
So obviously it would be prudent to Join the same site??
Arg! And what of the other communities within LJ that we had joined???

Maybe some of you smart intelligent computer/blog geeks will have an idea, or have done the research as to what site to join, should all of this happen.

Would hate to lose each and everyone's unique and special posts :(

And wonder if it were possible to archive what we have posted here on LJ, or somehow transfer our "history" over to a new site? Should we need to move.

I wonder if there is a way to somehow transfer or archive what we have here (all our posts) over to a new site such as scibbld?

have you googled the words 'livejournal archive' ?

there are lots of good things there. also if you read parts of the faq here on the website there are a few clients that will do what you need.

Don't think for now (see my yesterday's posts). They just let go 20+ employees, budget stuff... so everyone is thinking it might fold.
