I swear that when I joined Live Journal 2 yrs ago, we had a option, by checking a box, that whenever someone mentioned our profile name in their posts, we would be notified. I remember checking the box, and someone mentioned me once or twice, and I was notified of that. This choice was under the notifications section.

So I just requested help on this issue. The Live Journal help desk says they never had it. I know they did. Didn't they? Or was I dreaming.

It must be another program because my friend djinanna has or at least had that, because I accidentally mentioned her once and she emailed me about it. She got some kind of notification. I will try and remember to ask her about it, but I am in the middle of this awful overtime, so you may need to remind me!

Yep! I do remember choosing this option. I mentioned a few peeps last yr in my post (guys) that are not on my list, and they responded.... Thanks.
