Back and loved it! I want to go back! Now!

Back from Puerto Vallarta.
1. Being next to the Blue Chairs Gay Resort was perfect. Our condo with ocean view was very nice. Hearing the waves all day and night was so relaxing. So nice and warm, windows open 24/7.
2. Sitting on the Blue Chairs, and being served by the hot staff, while tanning burning in the sun.... ahaaaaa
3. The last 2 days, I took it easy with the sprained foot. So a good reason to relax. (15 yrs ago, I fell while at work, 3 feet down and landed with a wonderful sprain. Since then that ankle always sprains easily.)
4. Manana, the gay night club is awesome. Why can't San Francisco have nice venues like this (even little Sacramento has better venues)? In fact all the gay venues there were very very nice!
5. There were lots of men from Canada too! Mostly from Quebec and Ontario.
6. The men, tourists, and locals alike were such eye candy!
7. On the plane ride home, I sat next to a hunky Latin contractor on his way back from visiting family/friends (a 3 month visit). We chatted for the whole 3 hr trip. Told me the places to live, buy, visit next time around. It is so comfortable there, I could live there in an instant.
8. Recession??. He told me Mexico had not been hit as hard by the recession as the US. Not sure about that, but the clubs, restaurants, beaches, city, and airports were sure crowded with visitors.
9. Reality. Home. Laundry. Balancing check book. Paying bills. Back to work tomorrow :(
10. And I have a lot of LJ reading to do too :)
11. When is the next vacation?
12. It's cold here! I have the heat on:(

Did you get laid? *G* Sounds like a wonderful time!!!

Unfortunately not :(. I really did not try. If it happened it happened. A few were cruising me, but not my type. Timing was off, which is odd, for I normally get laid when out of town. Guess we were just too busy, having tourist fun, not *doing* the beach 100%, and maybe with our group too much (of course the cutest, beefiest man of the group did on the first night.... a 5 way!. I love him dearly, but if you go out with him, it's a 100% guarantee, he gets cruised and picked up. (lol). And after I sprained my foot, my hobbling around sorta made me feel real old! Not in a sexual mood (although I could of milked the sympathy thing I guess ;)
Most of the men, were grouped, or coupled. And most were so young! Wonder where they get the $$ to vacation.

Sounds simply wonderful. Oh, I wish we could do something like that... Oh, I wish we could go to SFO! I love the city and it has been nine years!

Glad you are home safe and sound.

So when do you plan on heading to Kansas City? Not nearly as exciting, but there must be some leather event or something that would make the trip worth it!

(((HUGS))) and glad you had such a good time!

It was fun. And except for airfare, it is really cheap. Even the condo, which was huge, divided by 5 people was cheap. The US dollar carries far down there. You know that if in SF you can always crash here. You'll get your own room too :). You should plan to come out for a fair weekend
sometime.

Seriously? (((HUG))) You hardly know me. And rooming is why is so cost prohibitive about the trip. I so want Raymond to experience SFO. I think it will heighten his pride so much... And I so love the city.

Do you actually live in the city itself? I know transportation is so easy... I bought some kind of pass and it let me ride all over the place.

Sure! Why not? I know you from LJ :). I am in South San Francisco, in between SF and the airport. One half mile from the BART station, and a 11 minute drive by car to Castro and South of Market. It is in the suburbs.
