0. Within less than a week of filing my taxes, my refund was deposited on Monday. Woot! Remember before efile, you had to wait weeks?
1. I have yet to catch up on last weeks Live Journal friends posts. Sorry guys. I will.
2. With my bad foot, I did train at the gym with trainer last night. Shoulders, abs, forearms.
3. I have been happy with Kaiser so far but after Tuesday's trying to get my foot X-Ray-ed, the back and fourth communication from my unresponsive Dr. Now I wish I were on Blue Cross. With the worse sprain/fracture in 15 yrs, I was concerned.
4. I am not sure if we just don't get along, our chemistry is off, but the first hour of being back at work, the maintenance man tells me stuff, that the woman covering for me, was complaining about some stuff I have done, how nice it was with me away, my not picking on him. And that he was hoping something went wrong on my vacation (jealous I went), and glad I sprained my foot. Then I get very agitated. Say something back. Then he gets mad. For some reason he really knows how to push my buttons.
Asshole! I am a slow learner. But his mind games, which tend to ebb and flow, are probably the reasons 7 before me have quit? In any case, he has no right to talk to me or any other manager like this (as I told him).
Well today he is now too nice. Oy!
5. I just looked at my hrs left for vacation. At an accrual rate of 6 hrs per month, it seems that it will take forever to accrue more time.
6. The only way to have a really nice vacation is to retire. By then, I will be too old for traveling, or not enough $$ (lol). No not lol, but :(
7. A memo for vacation time was faxed today from corporate. As of 2010, the if an employee has a max accrual rate of 2 weeks per yr, it can accrue up to 4 weeks total; and those that can accrue 3 weeks per year cannot exceed 6 weeks accrual. And all are now required to take at least 50% of their annual accrual rate off each year. So I now must take at least one week off per yr. That sucks.
