I am zonked
May. 7th, 2009 10:19 pm1. My personal trainer starts school this Saturday, so he met with me last night and tonight instead of Friday and Saturday.
2. Last night he beat the hell out of me on my shoulders and triceps.
3. Today sore. Now remember that is a good thing.
4. Tonight back, and biceps.
5. I was so pooped from work yesterday and yesterdays workout, (plus my getting over a small cold and cough) that I was a bit weaker than usual.
6. So lighter weight, more reps
7. Towards the end of the workout period I was so worn, that at best, my last routein of dumbbell curls could only be efficiently managed with 20lb weights. Then later only 15lbs, then later 10lbs. But I still felt it, and my biceps were burning and exploding (it's not always the amount of weight, but proper form of the exercise and the isolation of the muscle that is key)
8. I am beat. Off for a hot bath and bed
