A few personal beliefs: - Some products list "the kitchen sink" as ingredients. Take "Green Machine" by Naked Juice as an example. Now, I love the product, but it contains 2¾ apples, ½ banana, 1/3 kiwi and 1/3 mango. It's pretty much apple juice.
The juice also contains a "boost", which is: * Spirulina - 1300 mg * Chlorella - 400 mg * Broccoli - 100 mg * Spinach - 100 mg * Blue Green Algae - 50 mg * Garlic - 50 mg * Barley Grass - 75 mg * Ginger - 50 mg * Parsley - 50 mg
Is 400 mg of Chlorella actually going to DO anything? Probably not.
And, if it did, some pharmaceutical company would be doing everything it could to acquire the rights to it. (Hey. If they can scrape the cash together to buy other drug companies, you know buying a small neutriceutical company would be child's play.)
The same thing with the other "boost" ingredients. They're not gonna do much.
