Changed plans (family obligation)

cellboy1. My sister emailed me yesterday to say that my Aunt, my mom's last surviving sister (4 sisters, 2 brothers (only one bro left), will be moving to TX, close to her kids. She is 93. We're not that close, but I do have good memories of spending time with her family in Menlo Park, and their ranch in Arbuckle, and cabin at Tahoe when I was a child.
2. So looks like I will be driving up to Sacramento to sleep at my sister's Saturday night, then a quick trip for lunch in Carson City, NV on Sunday.
3. I really don't want to go (that selfish thing), but obviously that will be the last time I see her, and know I will be glad I did.
4. It will be nice to be up there. I have not been to the Tahoe, Reno, or Carson City area in a long time. Since I won't be driving, it will be nice (well, my Bro-in-law drives like a snail, which makes me nervous; as I have my foot down to the floor in the back seat :). Maybe he'll let me drive.
