Home early!
Nov. 22nd, 2009 10:35 pmI did not make it the the Mt. View Gay and Lesbian Pot Luck today (which was in San Mateo), for I had a Ducal Event that I had to attend. I can't believe it. Went to the event this evening and got home early (I even left a very crowded 440, full of hunks too. Doesn't anyone work the next day?)
1. Tonight, I think was one of the shortest most concise Imperial (Ducal Court) events (Investiture) evar
2. In at 5 pm (at Divas), and out by 8pm.
3. I was knighted this time As "Pretty, Hot & Tempting to the Golden Bear of Erin" (Patrick Noonan, Reigning Grand Duke, and Pollo Del Mar, Reigning Grand Duchess)
4. Last year I was knighted, Personal Confidant to his Royal Highness (Carlos Medal, and Landa Lakes)
5. My older titles, were with the Imperial Court of San Francisco,
"Leather Prince to the British Emperor, Michael Parsons" (and Empress Snatch). And with this, a lesser title, "The Ambassador of the Sling" (I had a saucy past then!)
I used to be fairly active with the Imperial Court, and sorta got tired of it (actually more like BURNED OUT), the politics, and bickering that went with it. But of course that happens in all organizations. And I keep reminding myself of the millions of dollars raised, by both these courts, nationwide (and throughout Mexico and Canada), for so many worthy causes. It seems that the court system is slowing down, possibly due to the economy, or lack of interest. I think, maybe after the holidays, I might try to help out a bit more and get involved. We'll see.
