When I lived in CA as a kid, I can remember a couple earthquakes. One woke by brother and me up and I thought he was kicking the bed. I was shouting at him to stop when my Mom ran in and said everything was okay, it was just an earthquake! LOL!
I remember once the swings swinging like mad and I also remember one that knocked down bridges and killed people.
I still prefer earthquakes to tornados. At least I can run into the street with an earthquake. Not so with a tornado!
