Monday Ramble

1. I was asleep by 11 pm last night, but still a bit groggy from the weekend. Eagle was very crowded, almost too much, due to the hot weather. Visited a bit with friends, then to the very crowded Lone Star, had my Coke, then was home for din din, and R & R.
2. Although I slept well on Saturday, my date/hookup's cute little 3 yr old Lab, kept licking my on my hand and face while I was sleeping (I miss having a dog :). So I did not get total sleep. And my hook/up date was up twice to walk the dog.
3. I woke up this morning to find my fridge door slightly open (Dumb me). Then of course to find, an iced up fridge area in the back, and a freezer and food in the fridge area not the coldest. My food seemed OK though.
4. So as taught by an appliance friend of mine, I had to remove the back plate of the freezer, and bottom piece to certainly find, as thought it would be, ice starting to form on the grills, and drain below.
5. Armed with my blow dryer, I thawed the forming ice, unplugged the drain hole, returned the plastic freezer covers and flooring of the compartment, and had it working with in 20 minutes.
Which made me late for work.
6. I just found out that the Gay and Lesbian Pot luck date has been changed to 11/22, in San Mateo. I also found out I may have to go to the Ducal Investiture at SF Divas that day too (if that's the date). Guess I just do the "Donna Sachet" thing. Visit both quickly (I'd rather just hang in San Mateo (unless my evil ex is there :(.
7. Well off to lunch and to check out my fridge.

Fridge is fine. No. That guy lives in Palm Springs, and I think he's the type that is really into that type; colt model type (since he looks like one :). I put him on my "I Like" list, but he did not reciprocate. My weekend friend did not look 40, but did not look 60 either. Nice guy. Daddy type. Apparently he said I was on his buddy list, when we chatted months ago (I don't remember! LOL). Not dating. It was only a first night. And he lives 2 hrs north, and currently has a lot of business issues taking up his time, and sanity, so think I won't see him much. But then again who knows? Let's just see if he sends me a thank you :P. I had a really nice and needed time in any case ;)
