Saved again (a yearly event)

Every year there is a frost, that occurs about 2-3 times per year. Which means, cover or bring in the outdoor plants. This jade, is very sensitive to cold. So I brought this 4 foot high plant inside for the night, and tonight too. This plant is over 26 yrs old. It was rooted from a clipping of my mom's large plant. Her plant was initially rooted from a clipping of my great Aunts huge plant, in the 60's, when she lived in Los Altos (my great Aunts yard was a landscape masterpiece); that plant then was 20 yrs old. I suppose that means my plant is over 60 yrs old! My great Aunt was the feistiest of the bunch. She always reminded me of Granny of the Beverley Hillbillys. She smoked incisively, and loved her Thunderbird Jug Wine. She was found dead, in 1969, at the age of 81 in her favorite place.... her beautiful back yard.

I'm impressed.

Frank killed off most of my plants when he arrived in my life a couple of years ago. I had three left when I moved.

Then I killed them off.
